Ames Main Street is excited to announce the launch of their new website design located at www.AmesDowntown.org.
Redeveloped with the mobile user in mind, the Downtown Ames website addresses the need for a mobile-friendly template, up-to-date and easy to access information on the Downtown District, and clearly organized content.
“We are excited to launch this new website,” said Drew Kamp, Executive Director of Ames Main Street. “When we performed an audit in late 2019, we found the website was difficult to access from a mobile device, and mobile users make up about 45% of our analytics. Providing them with an easy-to-navigate website was the most important piece of this redesign.”
In addition to updating the website template to a mobile-friendly design, the Downtown Ames website also includes information on purchasing or renting a space downtown, a newly updated business directory, a community calendar of events happening in the District, and resources for business owners in the area to access to help further their venture.
The new Downtown Ames website launched on April 27 and can be accessed at www.AmesDowntown.org.
