The Ames Patriotic Council’s Veterans Day program this year will take place at the Ames City Auditorium, 520 Sixth Street, Ames, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 11.
For remote viewing the program will be streamed live on the Patriotic Council’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/AmesPatrioticCouncil/events and on our web site at http://amespatrioticcouncil.org . The video will also be available for viewing at later times and days at these addresses.

Our featured speaker this year will be Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Donald Kom (Retired). Don is presently serving as the Director of the Ames Municipal Electric System. He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota. Upon graduation in 1987, he received both his diploma and a commission in the United States Air Force as a Second Lieutenant.
