Little Woods, a small family-owned Main Street tea shop, has partnered with Coffee Flour™ to bring their new Coffee Cherry Tea to the US online retail market place. In addition to selling Coffee Cherry Tea online, Little Woods, who specializes in artisan whole botanical tea blends, is launching a new line of herbal tea blends featuring this unique ingredient. According to co-owner Kristin M Roach, “Little Woods started online over five years ago, so we were perfectly poised to take this step. Our Main Street community neighbor, Morning Bell Coffee Roasters, brought us samples after trying Coffee Cherry at a coffee industry event. It wasn’t right for his company, but knew we would be interested. He’s brought us cascara from other sources before, and honestly we have never been very impressed, too much funk and too large a cut to incorporate into our blends. Coffee Flour™ produces a different kind of product. It is sweet, clean, bright and fruity. Immediately we started dreaming up combinations with this new ‘tea’.” Andrea Mauton, tea blending collaborator, brought to life the first official blend – Oasis. It’s a delightful combination of elderberries, coconut, and sarsaparilla that’s tart, tropical, yet chocolatey with a full mouth feel. The second blend, featuring pink peppercorns, damiana, lemongrass, and ginger is spicy sweet with a tart cherry finish. This is just the first step in what will become a full line of Little Woods Coffee Cherry Tea blends. It is the perfect fit for Little Woods: ethical, environmentally friendly.
